Without a cure, all we can do is care.

Climb for Cancer Care is unique in that all proceeds directly benefit patients and families during their stay at the Marshall L. and Susan Gibson Pavilion.  The donations you make affect the day to day lives of both the patients and their families as well as the staff.

With your generosity and support we have been able to provide CD players to each of the rooms, DVD players and a DVD library for the patients, grieving baskets for the families, gas and hotel allotments for traveling family members and so much more.

In 2010, Climb for Cancer Care is attempting to set a new
record by climbing "two peaks in one week" and raise
$15,000 through private donations and corporate
 sponsors.

Beginning in January, the team will begin fundraising and

training with the assistance of Maine Medical Center.
In late June, the team will fly out to Washington and begin
their expedition for the summit of Mt. Rainier.
